These terms apply when you install or use the Gujob AI extension and the Gujob AI service it talks to. The product is a calibrated manipulation detector for text on Reddit. It is not legal, medical, financial, or psychological advice, and it is wrong sometimes — please read §6.
By installing the Gujob AI Chrome extension or using the Gujob AI service at gujob.ai ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
If we change these terms, we'll bump the date at the top and surface a notice for changes that affect existing users before they take effect.
Gujob is a multi-stage classifier that takes text you select on Reddit and returns a calibrated verdict — for example "ragebait," "scam," "concern troll," or "unclear" when the signal is weak. It runs heuristics, a structured-output model, evidence verification, calibration, and an abstain gate before producing a result. unclear is a real outcome, not a failure mode.
The Service is provided as-is, free for now, and the verdict is informational. It is not professional advice and it does not constitute a determination about any person, account, or community.
You can use Gujob without an account. Anonymous installs are limited to 5 analyses per hour, scoped to your install identifier.
Signing in with Google raises your quota to 240 analyses per day and ties decisions to your account so you can manage and delete them. Sign-in is optional. We do not store a password — authentication is delegated to Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for any use that occurs while signed in.
You can delete your account and all associated data from the extension popup ("Delete my data"). We can suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these terms have been violated, with notice when practical.

Text you analyze stays yours. We process it to produce a verdict and to operate the Service as described in the Privacy page. By default we do not retain your analyzed text beyond the audit window described there. If you opt in to "help improve Gujob," you grant us a non-exclusive, revocable license to use the analyzed text and your feedback to evaluate and improve the classifier. You can revoke this at any time by deleting your data; revocation removes any text retained under the prior grant.
AI verdicts are imperfect. False positives and false negatives both happen, especially on satire, niche jargon, or uncommon framing. Gujob is designed to abstain when confidence is weak, but you should still apply your own judgment. In particular:
Don't use Gujob as the sole basis for moderation decisions, employment actions, or anything else with real-world consequences for a third party.
The extension binary, server code, prompts, calibration, branding, taxonomy, and the Gujob name are the property of the maintainers of Gujob AI. Portions of the system — including parts of the schema and the public evaluation datasets — are open-source under the licenses stated in the project repository, and you are welcome to use those parts under their stated terms.
Nothing in these terms transfers any rights in third-party content (for example, Reddit posts you select for analysis); those remain governed by their own terms and the rights of their authors.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, that verdicts will be correct, or that the analysis will meet your specific needs.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gujob AI and its maintainers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our aggregate liability for any direct claim arising from the Service is limited to USD 50 or the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, whichever is greater.
You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension and, if signed in, deleting your data. We can stop offering the Service, in whole or part, at any time, with reasonable notice for changes that materially reduce functionality.
